- Pre-print Liner boards - these inks are designed to withstand the high temperatures that are found during the corrugation process. These colors will not change under conditions of high temperature and when used in combination with Polytex's own pre-print overlacquer , the printer is able to achieve the desired abrasion resistance, slide angles (COF), gloss and heat resistance. Specifications can be tailored to meet individual printer's needs.
- Water based Lamination inks - are specially formulated to run at high speeds on the latest flexographic and gravure printing presses. They are low VOC formulations that exhibit fast drying and excellent adhesion on a wide range of flexible films including Polyethylene (PE), Biaxially oriented Polypropylene (BOPP), polyester and nylon films. Inks are formulated around the printer's specific requirements including type of adhesive used and which other films will be used in the lamination.
- Water based surface inks for film - are designed primarily for the confectionary market where excellent adhesion and low odor is required on treated and coated films. These inks can be used in "cold seal" constructions in combination with a suitable release varnish. Alternately, these inks may be used in surface printed applications on metallized films where heat resistance is required for such end uses as coffee pouches
- Water based inks for outdoor applications - are designed to provide tough, exterior resistant coatings for such uses as lumber wraps and house wraps.
- Envelope Inks - are a series of low-curl inks designed for printing envelopes on high speed machines on a variety of paper types. They are formulated for high color strength, low odor and high gloss where needed.
- Soft Touch and Aquapuff are among the latest "tactile" printing inks available from Polytex that invite the consumer to not only look - but "touch" our packaging for a complete experience.
- Soft Touch is a unique water based coating designed to produce a leather-like, suede feel on a variety of paper and board stocks. Everyone's experience is slightly different when they feel Soft Touch for the first time. Some describe it as a "buttery" sensation, and some compare it to a fabric-like texture. Soft Touch was originally designed for its esthetic nature, lending itself well to cosmetic and personal care packaging. Soft Touch's tactile surface is also suitable for creating a receptive, easy to print on surface, with non-burnishing properties.
